Baby Payton's a cookin'!

Some of you know that I enjoy taking pictures and that occasionally I take some for family members. A couple of weeks ago I took some "Bump" shots of my sister-in-law. I am so excited to be gaining a niece, and even more excited that my brother is becoming a dad! He is beyond excited! Anyway...here are some of the shots I got.

Farewell Summer!

Beware...the following post has ALOT of pictures. With another summer gone and school back in session...I thought I would post some pictures of the summertime fun the kids had.

Yes....Isaac is quite the ham!

We got a lot of mileage out of the trampoline...

The sprinkler ball was a big hit!

Josie thought hangin' in just the diaper was great!

Water from the sprinkler ball tasted yummy!!!

Swinging is always a popular pass time!

Isaac improved greatly on his driving skills...

and was a good big brother to let Josie ride along!

Snake grass is cooool!

Both Hannah and Isaac were on their scooters all the time!

Ahhh, boys and dirt...need I say more.

Sidewalk chalk is a favorite of Josie's!

We had fun this summer, and are sad to be at the end of it...but I am so over the hot weather and can't wait for the pretty fall colors and cooler temperatures! On a side note...although I love my children greatly, I must say it was about time that school started! The last few weeks we were all getting on each others nerves and it is nice to have at least some time apart!

Even more vacation pictures!

Kinda hard to read, but it says Beverly Beach June 2008. Beverly beach is definitely one of our favorite vacation spots, with beach access and beautiful camp sites!

At the Yaquina Head Lighthouse

The Oregon State Aquarium is fun!

In the shark tube!

Watch out! They have some pretty big sharks in this place!

Kids in campgrounds with lots of dirt...what can beat that? The campsites here are so pretty, with lots of trees and greenery.

Going back through all the pictures makes me want to be back there, all though I could do without the drive there and back! With gas prices the way they are, it would probably be cheaper to fly, but we enjoy camping...and trying to pack tents, cookstoves, coolers and so on may not work on an airline!

More vacation pictures

Josie really didn't mind the chilly temp of the ocean water, as a matter of fact we couldn't keep her out of it!

digging for clams?

Josie was trying to get past Dave to get in the water again...

Is it really better late than never?

In June we were able to enjoy some vacation time in Oregon. We spent our first week with Dave's family and some friends in Redmond, then went on to the Coast for another 5 days.

Packed nice and tight in the car...

By mid vacation Josie was totally over the whole car seat thing, even the sight of it made her hysterical. The only time she wasn't completely upset while in her seat was when she was catching some zzzz's....

Nothing like flying kites on the beach.

Isaac's kite....

Boy did those kites go.

Hannah's kite....

Guess I gotta get ready for work, so I will post more later...

just a little easy listening!
