Money sucking fun spot?.....

The chickens and I went to Chuck E. Cheese today and I found myself wondering why I had volunteered to enter this "fun zone" and pour my money frivolously into their cash register... So the kids could run around like crazie's, play goofy games and collect tickets to pick out "prizes" that we could have bought twenty times over with the money it cost to play the games in the first place? But the fighting over tokens, cying tired baby, and a mommy on the edge aside, I had to think back to when I was a child and memories I have of the magical Chuck E. Cheese- with the most fabulous pizza, those awe inspiring robotic characters (playing in a cool band), and the funnest games anywhere that led to those awesome "prizes". Isn't it amazing how 20 some odd years can change your perspective? Anyway the kids had a blast, and here are some pictures to help me look past the frivolously spent money and remember how magical Chuck E. Cheese was when we were kids.

Horray Carrie you posted something!!! I totally see your point about Chucke-cheese, it was magical as a kid but I knew it was expensive cuz mom never let me have a B-day party there. Sorry you lost so much dough, but the pic's are cute! In the one with you and Josi you should have put your hair over her head to get a glimpse at her future look.

just a little easy listening!
