Still here :)

Well, we survived Christmas and all the chaos! The busy, hectic, running around seemed more this year than in the past. I really love the Christmas season, but wish I could just hang back and spend time with those most important. That seems nearly impossible, because they were all busy and running too! When did things get so crazy!?! I meant to send out Christmas cards, but never got around to it. I even had them all printed up, but never sent them out...so, here is what you would have received if I had been more on top of everything! Our beautiful pictures were taken by the very talented Julie Freeman!

I hope everyone I didn't have a chance to connect with had a fantastic Christmas! We all made out well. The big thing this year was a Wii from Dave's brother Ben and his wife Heather! Thank you guys! We have already played on it a bunch and love the family time it has seemed to bring :) The kids all got new bikes, amongst many many more gifts (they were entirely too spoiled!!!). I was thankful for the time we did get to spend with all our family...although I still wish it had been more! We are very thankful for the blessings we have received and feel so blessed for having the gospel in our lives! I am so thankful for our Savior!

So on the the New Year we go! Hopefully Dave will get more work, and my kids will continue to amaze me!

That card is absolutely perfect! I love it and I'm so excited that you used my work. I feel honored! Thank you for your comment too by the way. I wanted to answer your question. I set my camera to auto when I shoot and then in camera raw I manually change the wb. Like I said in my post this is something I am working really hard on and I hope am getting it! Someone told me to have a portrait up with the wb that you want and then try to match everything to that to help you see it. Maybe that will help!?! I always love to talk photography so shoot me a line!

just a little easy listening!
